San Diego Jewelry Buyers is family owned and operated. Kevin Keller runs it and his son Maxwell runs operations, and between the team there is over 50 years of combined experience as international jewelry dealers, jewelry designers, GIA diploma holders, diamond cutters and estate buyers.

Whoever looks at your piece will tell you what they are seeing and why it changes the value, while you watch. Our team and specialist network include GIA Graduate Gemologists, a Graduate Jeweler and a Graduate Diamonds diploma holder, alongside watchmakers, bench jewelers and diamond setters.

Jewelry design, production and casting expertise, together with international sourcing relationships, help us assess complete pieces and discuss your options.

  Kevin runs the business and is on the counter at 907 6th Ave most days. Watches are his specialty, and a diamond graded by him has been graded by someone who has done it since 1993.

  Co-Owner & Chief Operating Officer

  Kevin's son. Runs operations, the storefront and everything you see online. He also writes and films as Jeweler Maxwell, where he takes apart what pieces are actually worth and why, which is the same thing he does at the counter, just with a camera running.

  Rosario Levya is a senior buyer with decades of industry experience. At the counter, Rosario helps customers understand their pieces and consider purchase and loan options. The focus is a personal conversation about what they have, how it is evaluated and which option suits their needs.

  Janelle Arnold buys pieces at the counter and presents them for sale through product listings. Working across buying and listing gives her a view of both the customer’s selling experience and the resale process. She brings that practical perspective to understanding a piece and the factors that affect its value.

  Savannah Peirce leads product listing and specializes in luxury handbags, including Hermès and Chanel. Her work focuses on the details that matter when a bag changes hands, with particular attention to condition and authentication.   AJ Leonard is a GIA Graduate Gemologist and Graduate Jeweler with hands-on experience in gemstone identification, diamond grading, custom jewelry and stone setting. He combines gemological examination with practical bench skills to explain a piece’s characteristics in clear language. His background includes client consultations, jewelry repair and working with gemstone suppliers internationally.

His experience spans gemstone sourcing, assessing treatments and guiding bespoke pieces from design through production.
