- SR-75 over the San Diego–Coronado Bridge, which lands you on Interstate 5 at the edge of downtown. From there it is a few blocks to 6th Ave.
- Transit
- The Coronado Ferry runs to the Broadway Pier, about a ten-minute walk from us, which some people prefer to the bridge at rush hour.
- Parking
- There is metered street parking on 6th Ave and on the cross streets either side of Broadway, and several pay lots within a block. If you are carrying something heavy, a flatware chest or a box of coins, pull up directly outside and we will come out and help you carry it in.
Coming over from Coronado
This is the shortest trip of anywhere across the bay, and the ferry is a genuine alternative if the bridge is backed up: it lands at the Broadway Pier and we are a ten minute walk inland from there. Military ID is common on this route and makes no difference to the appraisal, though California law still requires a government-issued photo ID from anyone selling.

Questions from Coronado
Can I take the ferry rather than drive?
Yes, and at rush hour it is often faster. The ferry lands at the Broadway Pier and we are about ten minutes on foot from there, which is a reasonable walk unless you are carrying a full flatware service.
Do you buy from military families?
Constantly, and PCS moves are one of the more common reasons people sell. It makes no difference to how a piece is valued. Bring a government-issued photo ID, which California law requires from every seller.
Can I get an idea of value before I come over?
Send photographs and whatever you know and we will give you a range before you make the trip. A firm number needs the item in hand, because photographs cannot show us weight, wear or whether a stone is chipped.
We are PCSing. Can you work to a deadline?
Yes, and say so when you call. Military moves run to fixed dates and we would rather know at the start than find out on the day. Same-day payment is the norm, and for a very large amount we need a day's notice to arrange funds.
Can my spouse sell something in my name?
No. California law requires the person selling to present their own valid government-issued photo ID, and the transaction is recorded against that ID. Whoever owns the piece needs to be the person at the counter.
Is it worth crossing the bridge for one ring?
For a ring of any real value, yes — it is the shortest trip of anywhere across the bay, and the appraisal takes minutes. If you are unsure, send a photograph first and we will tell you honestly whether it justifies the drive.
