The Process

When you visit our downtown San Diego offices, you will be welcomed by a member of our staff and offered a freshly brewed espresso, coffee, tea, or a soft drink. You will then be escorted to a private buying area where you will meet with your buyer. Your buyer will examine your watch from every angle, noting the age, maker, and materials used to craft the watch. Once your buyer has completed his examination, he will offer you a detailed, free verbal appraisal. This verbal appraisal will contain valuable information about your designer watch that you can use should you choose to shop around at other buying offices.

After you receive your free verbal appraisal, your buyer will offer you a fair cash price to consign your watch with SDJB. If you choose to consign your watch with us, we will issue your watch a unique barcode tracking number.

We will then store your watch in one of our top of the line security safes housed in our bank style vault. The vault is protected by two steel security doors that require fingerprint scanning for access. You can rest assured that your watch is safe with us while we work to sell it.

Once your watch has sold, we will issue you a cash payment.
