View Google profile ↗I had a wonderful experience, Kevin seemed very upfront and knowledgeable about what I was inquiring. The store was easy to access downtown and they even had parking spots for free for customers, which was great and convenient. The store itself was nice looking and professional. The experience itself was no pressure and no hassle. I have no complaints. I would recommend anybody that needed to sell jewelry or gold that they were trying to offload To check them out. Five stars would use again!

What matters when evaluating jade
Separate the material from the imperial description
Jade is a broad name that can refer to jadeite, nephrite and, under certain conditions, green omphacite. Imperial jade describes especially fine jadeite appearance; a green photograph, family description or retail tag does not establish imperial quality or untreated status.
Share any identification report in full and keep it with the correct item. Our specialists distinguish what the report establishes from what still needs examination. Identity, treatment and market value are related questions, but they are not interchangeable.
Look at workmanship, texture and condition
Color distribution, translucency, texture, carving or cutting and condition can matter, along with a signature or precious-metal setting. For a bangle, views around the circumference help show its condition. For a pendant, show the front, back, edges and mounting when safely accessible.
Include ordinary-light images rather than only a brightly backlit view. Do not tap, scratch or perform a destructive home test. Bring the intact piece and explain known repairs, cracks or treatment information.
Discuss treatment evidence and buying suitability
Material identification does not by itself rule out dye or polymer treatment. A, B and C jade terminology concerns enhancement, not an overall quality grade. Existing reports, appropriate examination and, when needed, independent laboratory analysis help clarify the actual item.
We buy imperial jade and also evaluate signed pieces or jade set in precious metals, even when the jade is not imperial. Non-imperial jade that is neither signed nor set in precious metals is outside this buying scope. These policy descriptions do not replace gemological identification. Ask about the particular piece before arranging a visit or shipment.
Expertise, equipment & market knowledge
A closer look. An offer you understand.
You work one-on-one with our specialists. Our team includes GIA credential holders and experienced jewelry professionals. We examine the complete piece, explain what we find and discuss the market factors behind our assessment. You can ask questions and take time to decide.
Long-standing buyer and wholesaler relationships help us understand resale demand beyond a scrap-only calculation. A stone, signed setting or well-made jewel can deserve separate consideration. We explain which characteristics support the offer rather than asking you to accept a number without context.
Microscopy: condition, construction and detail
Our gemological microscopes help us examine internal features, surface wear, settings and workmanship with suitable lighting. Those observations can reveal details that matter to a gemstone or the complete jewel. We interpret them alongside other appropriate checks rather than treating magnification alone as proof of identity or origin.
Refractometry and thermal screening: narrow the possibilities
Our GEM Instruments Duplex II refractometer measures how a suitable, accessible gemstone surface bends light. Our Presidium Gem Tester provides thermal-conductivity screening on suitable materials. These methods supply different clues; overlapping results and the way a stone is mounted can limit what they establish. Neither instrument alone provides an authenticity certificate or a price.
Raman spectroscopy: investigate the material
Raman spectroscopy compares a material’s light-scattering spectrum with reference information to help investigate its identity. We select appropriate methods for the question and explain their findings. Some treatment, natural-origin or geographic-origin questions need additional work by an independent gemological laboratory; no single instrument settles every question.
Before you visit
Does an imperial jade description guarantee fine untreated jadeite?
No. The description does not replace material identification, treatment evidence and examination. Provide the full report if one exists, and distinguish the seller’s description from verified findings.
Can a sound or scratch test at home authenticate jade?
Do not tap, scratch or damage the item. These demonstrations do not replace appropriate identification and treatment analysis, and they can harm jewelry or a carving.
Can I ask about a jade bangle without paperwork?
Yes. Start with what you know about the piece. Staff can review suitability and explain whether photographs, examination or independent laboratory information would be helpful. No certificate is required to begin the inquiry.
Do you buy ordinary jade without a precious-metal setting?
Our focus is imperial jade, signed pieces and jade set in precious metals. Non-imperial jade that is neither signed nor set in precious metals is outside our buying scope. A label such as imperial does not by itself establish quality or acceptance; our specialist evaluates the actual piece.
Can I borrow against imperial jade or a signed jade piece?
Yes, collateral loans are available on eligible imperial jade, signed pieces and jade set in precious metals. We assess the item, then explain the loan amount and written terms separately from any purchase offer. Ask about your piece before arranging a shipment.
Does A jade mean there is absolutely no wax?
No. In the classification described by GIA, A jade can be natural jadeite with wax polishing; B refers to bleaching and polymer impregnation, and C to dyed material. These terms concern treatment rather than an overall quality grade.
Can one instrument rule out every jade treatment?
No. We combine appropriate observations and testing, interpret their limits and explain whether independent laboratory work is needed. A single image, refractive-index reading or Raman result is not a universal treatment or value guarantee.
